Do you love Irish Music? If so mark your calendar for an amazing Irish music festival in Boca Raton, FL on September 25th at 6:30 pm at The Irishmen pub in Boca Raton.
George Walker was a well known fiddler in the tri-county area and up state New York Area for over 7 decades. On September 25, 2015, George would have been 90 years old. To honor his passion for music and his advocacy for higher education, his band “Echoes of Erin” has put together a selection of many local bands and artists including The Roaring Kelly Band to perform on stage at the Irishmen in Boca Raton, FL. The monies raised will go towards a music and educational scholarship at Florida Atlantic University and American College Dubin in Ireland in honor of George Walker. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction. All proceeds will go towards the scholarships. More details to come soon!
